SB 713 Scheduled for Hearing Tomorrow

A public hearing has been scheduled by the chair of the Senate Committee on Government Operations, Technology and Consumer Protection, Senator Duey Stroebel (R- Saukville) on Senate Bill 713 for this Wednesday, January 31 starting at 9:30 a.m. in room 201 Southeast of the State Capitol. In addition to chairing this committee, Senator Stroebel is the lead author of SB 713, along with the Vice-chair of the committee, Senator David Craig (R-Big Bend).

The SAA has registered in opposition to the bill.  In addition to the talking points and other information that appears below, we are also providing a fact sheet on the bill and a memo from the Wisconsin League of Municipalities and the Wisconsin Towns Association.  We would like to thank our colleagues at WEMTA for this in formation.
