$100 Million School Safety Bill Heads to Governor’s Desk

Yesterday, the Assembly passed the $100 million school safety bill approved by the Senate on Tuesday.  That bill now heads to the Governor’s desk.  The Assembly also voted to strengthen background checks for the sale of long guns in Wisconsin.  The fate of that bill in the Senate remains uncertain.
