Act 10 Ruling Update

Below are links to three legal briefs constructed by legal firms that partner with WASDA – Von Briesen, BoardmanClark and Quarles. These pieces were shared with their clients, and SAA is sharing them with all of you for your information and consideration. The core of the messages is similar and aligned with the SAA perspective on the recent ACT 10 decision from a Dane County judge.
Two inherent messages in the briefs we support – 1) there is no need for you as a district to do anything at this time related to the decision – the legal process is incomplete and will take time 2) if you have particular challenges from entities in your district related to the current state of the ACT 10 decision, please contact your own district legal counsel whether that is one of these firms or another.
